The USA in 30 Days
If you’ve traveled at all, you will know that getting started is half the battle—maybe three-quarters of the battle. If we went back and calculated how much time we spent planning, charting, researching, calculating, calling, and then re-planning and re-charting, I wonder if we would still feel the vacation had been worth it. What am I saying? Of course it would be worth it! Still, the planning deserves some space, so I will start with that. Join me Saturday (March 1) for my first blog attempt!
Half the fun is the anticipation, we brought books, maps and planned and planned for our trip. Still got lost. Traveller or tourist - who cares?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear and see more from you!
Thanks, Ann. I'm anxious to get my stories started. And I know what you mean about the maps and planning. We got a GPS before our trip and still managed to get lost!
DeleteCheers,
Cindy
I love your theme! In fact my blog is called Travels with Kaye. A journey is a good theme for a writer. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kaye. I agree--the journey is the thing, whether it be actual travel or a jaunt into a fictional world with a wonderful character.
DeleteHappy trails,
Cindy
